I finally had an opportunity to reload the Inspiron 600m with Fedora Core 2. I am pleasantly surprised by what many people said was a horrible release, but it seems that this is a case of a few bad features spoiling the distribution. Yes, I actually like the new Nautilus. So far.
This morning Slashdot broke the news that Intel has a driver out for their Centrino wireless cards. Having spent a bit of time reading this over it looks good, it just needs a bit of fleshing out. The initial version doesn't support WEP, which makes this useless for me at the moment. However, I do plan on keeping a close eye on this.

This laptop has been retired in favor of my new Dell Inspiron 600m. I probably won't have much more to say about this laptop.
